Some people discover their calling early in life. For Leroy Petry, that moment came at age seven, growing up in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Even as a kid, he knew he wanted to serve his country and by the time he enlisted in 1999, he was more than ready to follow through.
He would serve in the 2nd Battalion, 75th Army Ranger Regiment during Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom.
