Love Letter
September 11, 2026

The New York City chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America hosted a singles mixer, where sweaty attendees were looking for love.

“I texted the group chat that I’m here looking for my ‘Mam-daddy,’” one said. The issue? Most people couldn’t really hear each other.

Read the full story about the mixer below. We also have a list of romance novels based on your favorite rom-com and a Modern Love episode about a chef who eats her way through divorce.

P.S. Have a crush or want to drop someone a hint? Forward today’s Love Letter their way.
