Fifteen leading architects and designers met last week to decide the winners of Dezeen Awards 2026, in partnership with Trimble, which will be revealed at the Dezeen Awards 2026 party in November.

Ma Yansong and Daniel Libeskind join Dezeen Awards 2026 master jury in London

The master jury took place at the One Hundred Shoreditch hotel in London and included architects Ma Yansong and Daniel Libeskind as well as interior designers Wendy Saunders and Jaime Hayon.

 

Designers Martin Lotti and Jo Barnard, as well as architects Dominique Petit-Frère and Aziza Chaouni also joined to determine the 49 winning projects, ahead of next week's shortlist announcements between 21-23 September.

Dezeen Awards 2026 shortlists announced next week

This year's shortlists will be announced next week, between 21-23 September.

 

Our world-renowned judges have selected the shortlists for our main Dezeen Awards categories. All shortlisted projects will be in the running to win their project category, before competing to win the prestigious overall project of the year in their sector.

 

The shortlist announcement follows last week's Regional Showcases, which were selected by Dezeen's editors to highlight the 50 best projects each in three regions globally: Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Asia Pacific (APAC) and the Americas.
