Annual Giving ends Friday, September 25, and we’re officially in the home stretch.
Annual Giving is basically KG PTA’s only big fundraiser for the year — and there’s a reason we do it this way.
Other school PTAs may hold galas with silent auctions, encourage kids to sell popcorn or wrapping paper, or use fundraising companies that keep a sizeable portion of the money raised.
Instead, we ask families to make one direct donation to the KG PTA, and that money stays right here at KG to support our school.
No selling. No collecting pledges. No event tickets to buy. No fundraising company taking a cut.
Your contribution helps fund things like:
• Direct support for teachers to purchase supplies for their classrooms.
• Beloved school-wide events like Heritage Night, the Welcome Back Picnic, and STEAM/Literacy Night.
• Teacher Appreciation Week meals, treats, and gifts.
Your donation also helps fund major projects that directly benefit our kids. In previous years, our amazing families’ generosity helped renovate the school courtyard and purchase new cafeteria and picnic tables, ukuleles and risers for music class, and an outdoor weather center. We’re currently working to secure a new playground shade structure.
Our goal is $48,000, which helps us fund the PTA budget for this entire school year — but we still need your help to get there!

If you haven’t donated yet, we’d love your help getting us across the finish line. Our suggested donation is $175 per family, but every donation, at any amount, helps.
