Women Laughing is about my experience alongside other women breaking into and thriving as cartoonists at the New Yorker. Over the 40 years since I began cartooning there, the landscape has undoubtedly changed, but the need for a cartoonist’s sharp eye and wit has only gotten more critical. Over the next week we have our first NYC theatrical run at the wonderful Firehouse theatre in lower Manhattan and I hope you’ll join us.
