Stellantis targets hybrid powertrain with patent filing

Stellantis has filed a patent for a hybrid powertrain that aims to reduce the time delay between engine and electric motor responses, enhancing driving smoothness. The system uses advanced algorithms, including "Kalman filtering and horizon prediction," to compensate for time delays.
