Welcome to this year’s Chantilly Academy newsletter! Each week, we’ll use this newsletter to communicate timely information, including upcoming calendar reminders, and highlight academy programs and events throughout the year. We are already off to a busy start at Chantilly Academy this year, so check in every Friday to see what’s happening around the Academy!
Students enrolled in one of the following Academy courses can now view their class invoices in their MySchoolBucks account:

Please login to your MySchoolBucks account as soon as possible to pay your class fee.
If you are approved for Free and Reduced-Price Meals (FRM), please submit a copy of your FRM approval letter from Food and Nutrition Services dated July 1, 2026 or later and a completed copy of the Consent to Share Form to your Academy teacher.
In case you missed it: FCPS recently did a feature on Chantilly Academy's Classroom on the Mall program. While many of our programs take place within the walls of Chantilly Academy, our Classroom on the Mall program allows students to take Marketing Management and Small Business Marketing in an authentic retail setting at Fair Oaks Mall. The recent FCPS article highlights an annual favorite project at our Classroom on the Mall: creating holiday visual merchandising displays at Macy's.
As part of this project, students work in small groups and alongside Macy's management and staff to setup holiday displays on the sales floor throughout Macy's at Fair Oaks. In doing so, they gain hands-on workforce experience, practice communication, and benefit from the mentorship of store managers and staff.  Carpentry students have hit the ground running with projects in the workshop like this tool rack in progress.
 Level 2 Auto Tech students have finished their safety training and have begun servicing client vehicles.
 Our second year Cosmetology students are back and ready to spend the school year preparing to take their State Board exam to earn their Cosmetology Licenses.
 Dental Careers 2 students jumped right into the clinic to begin working on their competencies. Pictured here, students practiced safely putting together, passing, and taking apart syringes for administering local anesthesia.
 Students in Auto Collision have already begun working on a number of vehicle body repairs including preparing this truck bed for painting.
