Suffice it to say that working with all these amazingly talented and accomplished journalists takes resources. And while Public Notice has more than 270,000 total subscribers, only 5 percent of you support the newsletter with a paid subscription.

I launched Public Notice back in 2021 because I didn’t think mainstream outlets were doing an adequate job covering the Republican Party’s war on democracy or the threat a third Trump presidential campaign represented. I’d like to think that in the years that followed, PN has established itself a bastion of sanity and unvarnished truth in a landscape where far too many outlets sanewash and bend the knee.
