Comedian Carrot Top hospitalized and recovering, representative says

Comedian Carrot Top has been hospitalized and is recovering, his representative said Saturday.

“Mr. Thompson is recovering in the hospital and is receiving the care and support he needs,” his representative Jami Schlichersaid in a statement using his real name, Scott Thompson. “His family and those closest to him are deeply grateful for the concern, prayers and respectfully ask for privacy.”

The representative did not disclose why the 61-year-old performer was hospitalized or provide further details about his condition.

Julia Stiles gets another public apology, this time from Juilliard

Julia Stiles is collecting apologies almost as quickly as she is collecting scores on “Dancing With the Stars.”

After Andy Cohen recently walked back a dig at Stiles’ dancing, the actress has now received a playful apology from Juilliard over a case of mistaken identity involving one of her most famous movie roles.

The mix-up stems from “Save the Last Dance,” the 2001 movie in which Stiles played Sarah Johnson, a ballet dancer who moves to Chicago and eventually earns a spot at the prestigious Juilliard School.

White House TikTok post goes silent after scathing Zara Larsson critique

A White House TikTok video celebrating ICE-led deportations went silent on Friday after singer Zara Larsson tore into the administration for using her song “Midnight Sun” in the post.

The Swedish artist took to TikTok, flashed an “L” sign with her thumb and index finger, and called the White House “losers” for borrowing a tune that celebrates the joy of Scandinavian nature to soundtrack a celebration of mass deportations.

“It’s just so f—— uncool,” she told 12.5 million TikTok followers on Thursday. “You guys are such f—— losers.”
