Riot Fest opens with a mild Day 1, with the exception of punk godfather Iggy Pop

Returning to Douglass Park Sept. 18-20 with headliners including Twenty One Pilots, Tool, Pierce the Veil, Iggy Pop, Nas, Elvis Costello and Insane Clown Posse, the festival came in like a lamb under Friday’s overcast skies despite bands known for heavy thrash, circle pits and big sing-alongs.
