The ex-husband of Lindsay Clancy gave his first televised interview to “60 Minutes” on CBS News on Sunday after a jury deadlocked in her trial for killing their three young children.

Patrick Clancy talked about the grief of losing his children and addressed social media conspiracy theories surrounding the case, which have included unfounded claims he was connected to the death of his children. His new wife, Dr. Rachel Danis, also joined him in the interview.

He also confirmed that he and Danis are starting a family, without offering further details.

The weather took a decidedly fallish turn this weekend, going from a high of 80 on Saturday to 63 yesterday. Such are these pumpkin-spiced times.

If you’re looking for a rebound in the temps, this isn’t your week. A cool bubble of high pressure will settle in across New England, creating onshore winds, cool temps, and plenty of clouds.

Then, later in the week, it looks to conspire with a deepening low-pressure system and stew up a large multi-day nor’easter offshore.

A fire Sunday morning damaged the Rockport House of Pizza and displaced at least two families. There were no reported injuries.

Rockport police and fire said they responded to 19 Broadway Avenue around 10 a.m. after receiving reports of a strong gas odor throughout the building. The fire department said crews saw thick black smoke coming from the mixed-use building when they arrived.

Firefighters struck four alarms to bring additional aid to the scene. National Grid also shut off electrical service to the building. Crews were able to put out the fire at approximately 1 p.m.

One person was shot by a federal Immigration Enforcement Officer in Austin on Sunday, according to the Austin Police Department.

Austin Mayor Kirk Watson said this shooting comes after an increase in detentions by ICE in Austin.

“It is awful that this horror has come to our doorstep,” said U.S. Rep. Greg Casar (D-Austin).

A UMass Dartmouth football player is dead and one of his teammates is injured after they were both stabbed in a Wendy’s parking lot following an altercation at a lounge in Providence, Rhode Island, early Saturday.

Providence police say 19-year-old Chukuwnonso Uzoma-eze is facing a murder charge in connection to the stabbing death of 18-year-old Marvins Antoine outside the Wendy’s on Charles Street.

Officers first responded to the area around 12:30 a.m. and found 18-year-old Antoine and another person with stab wounds. The first victim, Antoine, had been stabbed in the chest. He was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said. Antoine was a freshman running back from Boston who graduated from Durfee High School in Fall River.
