Veterans Invited to Celebrate Spiritual Care Week, Oct. 18 – 24

 

 

Hello from your Bay Pines VA Healthcare System,

Bay Pines VA Healthcare System invites Veterans and their families to join us in recognizing Spiritual Care Week, Oct. 18 – 24, 2026.

This year’s theme, “Healing Through Presence and Grace,” highlights the importance of connection, reflection, and spiritual support as part of overall health and well-being.

Throughout the week, Veterans are invited to participate in activities at the C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center campus:

  • Morning Prayer | 19 – 23 at 9 a.m. in building 2, Veterans Chapel, Room 112. Begin the day with quiet reflection, gratitude and spiritual grounding.
  • Virtual Noonday Conference Presentation | 21 at noon. Explore this year’s Spiritual Care Week theme and learn more about the healing power of presence.

  • Meet the Chaplains | 22, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in building 100, J.C. Cobb Room (1D-127). Meet members of the Bay Pines VA Chaplain Service team, learn about available spiritual care resources, and enjoy light refreshments, conversation and support.
