Issue: Erroneous Email Messages from Federal EHR
Veterans who use My HealtheVet and receive care at facilities using the Federal Electronic Health Record (EHR) are receiving multiple emails alerting them that there are new messages, clinical documents, test results, or other information available on My HealtheVet when there are not.
These emails are all sent from a “Federal EHR – No Reply” mailbox, and they direct the recipient to patient portal links to retrieve the new information based on where they receive care: My HealtheVet on VA.gov for Veterans and MHS Genesis for Department of War service members.
There is a pending Oracle Health task order to turn these emails off for VA, but until implemented, Veterans should ignore these emails. The local My HealtheVet coordinators and support centers cannot provide any additional assistance to Veterans receiving these emails.
